Malaria is the number one killer of children under 5 in South Sudan.

South Sudan has been ravaged by civil war and violence as it gained independence from Sudan. Over 130,000 refugees have fled their homes near the Sudan / South Sudan border. Malaria, a disease caused by a single mosquito bite, is a huge risk, especially for children.

Malaria is a severe problem, especially as the rainy season approaches. Nothing But Nets is a grassroots campaign to save lives in Africa from malaria. Right now, Nothing But Nets is rallying support to help send bed nets to South Sudan.

These bed nets protect refugees from the mosquitos that spread malaria. A child dies from malaria in Africa every 60 seconds. Just $10 can send a net and save life. Go to www.nothingbutnets.net to learn more!
