You might know Christopher Lee as Saruman from Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit, but he's one of the most prolific actors of all time and has appeared in over 270 movies. Another one of his famous roles was a portrayal of Dracula.

• He was the first person to enter the Vatican Museum after the end of WW2

• As a teen, he was a witness at the execution of Eugen Weidman, the last man to be publicly executed by guillotine in France.

• Muhammad Ali was a big fan and once dedicated a win to him after meeting him.

• When filming Lord of The Rings, he was getting direction from Peter Jackson in how to sound when getting stabbed in the back. Lee corrected him, saying he knew what that really sounded like.
