Walt Disney is, of course, one of the most gifted and creative men of modern times, who built a media empire. Ray Kroc would later go to found McDonald's. It's interesting to think that they both crossed paths so long before either would go on to build two of the biggest brands in the world.
They were both part of the Red Cross and they drove ambulances during the war. Interestingly, they both ran into issues about their age during this time. Walt was rejected from the Army for being 16, so he joined the Red Cross. Kroc was only 15 so he also had to lie to the Red Cross to become a driver!
